Use of the service
Shifter is provided as a SaaS subscription. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for ensuring you have the legal right to manage the staff assignments you create.
Subscriptions
Billing is monthly per active employee. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Liability
Shifter helps you comply with the EU Working Time Directive but does not replace your legal counsel. Compliance violations surfaced by the engine are advisory; the final decision to publish a schedule rests with the manager.
Termination & data export
On cancellation you can export your data for 30 days. After that, data is permanently deleted from active systems and rotated out of backups within 90 days.
